Hi! Over the years, I’ve been asked many questions about aromatherapy, holistic healing, myself & my skills, and about my business practices & policies. As I think of important things to take note of, remember some of the best & most frequently asked questions, and have new questions and ideas brought forward, I will add them to this page…

• Do you label your aromatherapy products?

  Yes, I always label my aromatherapy products and essential oil blends. That way, if someone has an allergy or sensitivity or interaction with something else that they are taking, they can refer to the label and make sure that there’s nothing in the ingredients that can make them sick or hurt them.

• Which carrier oils do you use? Should I let you know if I have a known allergy?

  The carrier oil that I use most often in my pre-made essential oil blends is Extra Virgin Grapeseed oil, sometimes with Safflower, Sunflower seed, &/or Jojoba oils added. These oils have a much lower incidence of allergies than nut-based carrier oils like Sweet Almond and Hazelnut do.

  For my aromatherapy and spa products, and for custom blends, there are several carrier oils that I use; sometimes I even blend different carrier oils to use in certain products. Each oil has it’s own unique set of health and skin-nourishing properties. For example, Rosehip oil is great for skin rejuvenation, the healing of scars and stretchmarks, and is especially good for mature skin. Olive oil is full of antioxidants and is a known healer and skin protectant, but it can have a strong scent for a carrier oil. Hazelnut is lovely to use for the face, but anyone will nut allergies should avoid it. Depending on the situation, the product that I’m creating, and the target customer demographics, I may use Sunflower Seed, Safflower, Wheatgerm, Coconut, Hazelnut, Sweet Almond, Grapeseed, Avocado, Extra Virgin Olive, Rosehip, Sesame seed, Jojoba, and others. If you know that you have an allergy to nuts, a common carrier oil, (or one listed above), to an essential oil or herb, or to any other natural medium, please let me know BEFORE you make your order! You can either e-mail me directly or fill out the contacts page on this website. As soon as I confirm that I’ve received your message, I’ll tell you to go ahead and make your order. As long as you let me know AHEAD of ordering and you hear back from me that I’ve received & recorded your allergy, I will guarantee that your product will not contain your allergen(s). If I cannot make the product that you desire without using the allergen, or if I feel that the recipe will suffer by making a substitution, I will let you know in the confirmation message and we can talk about the options. However, if you make your order WITHOUT telling me BEFOREHAND about your allergen, then I cannot make any guarantees. If you realize immediately following your ordering that you forgot to let me know this vital info, you can still send me an e-mail, text message, or fill out a contact form about the allergen. If I receive it fast enough, I MAY be able to make a substitution for the ingredient you are allergic to. However, again, I cannot make any guarantees at that point.

• Do you make custom essential oil blends and aromatherapy products?

  YES! A large percentage of my business is making up custom blends and products. I am always happy to discuss the possibility of putting together a custom order for you. At some point, I’m hoping to have a page where a price list for custom blends and products is posted, perhaps with some ideas or options that one can fill out on some type of order form. However, at this time, I ask that you fill out a contact form or e-mail me directly if you’re interested in custom blends, products, or gift baskets.

• What size are your essential oil blends?

  Unless otherwise specified, the essential oil blends offered on this website are 15mL (1/2 oz).

• What type of containers do you use?

  I always place my essential oil blends in amber or cobalt blue glass bottles. This helps to keep them out of the sunlight, helps prevent potential erosion of plastic bottles, and avoids allergens and chemical sensitivities as much as possible.

• Do you use natural essential oils and materials in your aromatherapy products?

  Yes. All of my essential oils, carrier oils, and various ingredients are always 100% natural. I believe that synthetic fragrances not only tend to smell nothing like the natural herb that they’re supposed to imitate, but they also do not provide the medicinal benefits, the healing phytochemicals, and many people have health issues from them, (synthetic fragrances have been known to set off migraines, asthma, seizures, hayfever and allergies, sinus congestion, nausea, chemical sensitivities, and skin rashes).

• Do you sell any single essential oils? How can I order them?

  Yes, I sell single essential oils and carrier oils as well. As I have Biology and Chemistry undergraduate degrees and have taken many aromatherapy classes and courses, I am familiar with the meanings of the quality control tests published by major essential oil companies. I use a wholesale company for the most part, sometimes buying a few oils from one of 3 other companies, (such as when my wholesaler is out of a certain plant oil). Eventually, I’m hoping to make it easier to buy single oils from me online. Currently, if you are interested in purchasing individual essential oils, carrier oils, or infused oils from me, please fill out my contact form, e-mail, or text me directly. I’ll be able to give you the options of bottle size, (the most common are 5 mL, 10 mL, 15 mL, 30 mL/1 oz, and 3.3. oz), the lowest price that I can find for you at the time, etc.

• I don’t see my country listed under the shipping options. Can I still order your products?

  Presently, most of my customers are from the U.S., so American shipping options are the ones that I’m adding first. If the address where you want your order sent is in a country that is not listed on this website, please contact me. I have no problem researching shipping options for you. Then we can either do a private order through PayPal, or I can add your country’s shipping options to the list available on this site.

• What is your return policy?

  It is important to me that my customers are happy with their purchases. If I ever send you the wrong oil or product, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your package and I will work with you to make it right. At this time, I am unable to offer returns on sale items, custom orders, and gift baskets/sets, (unless I made a mistake, in which case please let me know ASAP). Once a product has been opened, I cannot offer returns or exchanges, as I can no longer guarantee the quality of the product. If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I want my customers and clients to be happy, healthy, and living the best life that they possibly can!

• Do you ever do aromatherapy parties or events?

• Yes. I've done a few different kind of events, sometimes with other holistic practitioners, sometimes with just me. I usually bring some ready-made products that people can sample & buy, as well as materials to be able to make custom products there for anyone interested. Once I have my massage therapy license, in early 2023, I'll be able to massage the essential oils and products into people as well. I have both a massage chair and massage table. Once I am officially a LMT, (licensed massage therapist), I'll be doing office events, as well. Doctor's offices, dentists, insurance salesmen, all sorts of small to medium size offices can have events where anyone interested can receive a chair massage. I'll be able to also offer essential oils with this service. A lot of bosses and owners will pay for their office employees to receive this service either on a regular basis or as a gift or reward. Studies show that regular massage, even chair massage, can improve office productivity and relations between employees. It is suggested that stress levels are lowered and that there's less sickness.
